We had a great breakfast filled with breakfast burritos. Delicioso!! We got our stuff ready to go and found out that 6 Flags was having a screaming deal. Passes for Thursday were only 10 dollars. Coach Smith, Wendi and Mrs. Mike went home on Thursday. Mike decided that it would be fun to take all the boys and Julia along. The boys had a fabulous time there and ended up taking off the next morning around 5. It was a cozy, cozy ride back with every seat taken in the white van.
Pikes Peak was a great experience, playing up an age category was a learning experience and a skill builder making all the boys feel able and ready for the real season to come. They can accomplish many things when they put their hearts together and play as a team, building each other up along the way.
Thanks to the Meibos family...all of them for sharing your home and family time with some pretty smelly, loud boys. You guys are SUPER!!
